# Installation & Production Execution

**Purpose of this step**\
This step covers how work is executed once a project moves into production.\
It defines what homeowners can expect during installation and how communication and site standards are maintained.

#### Arrival & Start Expectations

* Installation is scheduled in advance and confirmed prior to arrival
* Arrival windows are provided rather than exact start times
* Crews arrive with materials and equipment required for the defined scope

Schedules may adjust due to weather, access, or site conditions.

#### Site Preparation

Before work begins, crews typically:

* Review the scope and job details
* Stage materials and equipment
* Take reasonable precautions to protect landscaping, driveways, and nearby property
* Identify access points, power needs, and work zones

Preparation varies by project type and site conditions.

#### Daily Work Norms

During installation:

* Work is performed according to the written scope and manufacturer requirements
* Crews focus on completing defined tasks rather than rushing timelines
* Unexpected conditions are documented and communicated before changes are made

Work may occur over one or multiple days depending on project complexity.

#### Communication During the Project

* Homeowners are informed of progress and notable findings
* Questions or concerns are addressed as they arise
* Scope changes are discussed and approved before proceeding

Communication is intended to be clear and documented, not reactive or rushed.

#### Cleanup Standards

At the end of each workday and upon completion:

* Job sites are cleared of debris related to the work performed
* Tools and materials are secured or removed
* Final cleanup is completed before project closeout

Some disruption is unavoidable during construction, but cleanliness is treated as part of the job.

#### What This Stage Does *Not* Include

This stage does not:

* Introduce new scope without discussion
* Substitute materials without approval
* Require homeowner oversight or supervision

Execution follows the agreement already in place.

**What comes next**\
Once installation is complete, the project moves to final walkthrough and completion.
